Circuit of the Americas (COTA)

Home of the United States Formula 1 Grand Prix. The only FIA grade A track in the USA.

"America's Formula 1 Track": Circuit of the Americas opened in 2012 in Austin, Texas. It is the most expensive road course ever in North America. Designed and built for the specific intention of hosting Formula One, its' layout and design feature state-of-the-art amenities, infrastructure and safety features. Renowned international track designer Hermann Tilke says it may be the "very best track I've done so far". The lap has received rave reviews from Formula One champions like Vettel, Hamilton, Alonso and others. The complicated and challenging lap covers 20 turns in 3.4 miles with over 110 feet of vertical. Nearby Austin is also an exciting destination for non-driving family members who accompany you. A foodie haven of dining, renowned night life and music, plus the University, arts, and museums.
