Essential Information

  • Track Event Registration: $399
  • Second Driver Fee (read details below): $100
  • Coaching fee, applicable for novice drivers: $0
  • Optional paddock RV stayover fee: $90
  • Due to the Winefest, the garages will be unavailable for this event. All drivers will paddock in the North paddock area adjacent to the media center.
  • RV paddock camping is OFFERED at $120 per night. If you need power hook-up, you will need to ask track management upon arrival. WGI will charge +$50 onsite for hook-up.
  • Register on this page for 1-day, Tuesday only participation.

  • 1-day registration available for SOLO-QUALIFIED DRIVERS only, Watkins Glen experience REQUIRED.
  • Novice driver registration not available for 1-day only.
  • Chin format: 3 run groups: Novice, Intermediate, Advanced.
    • limited enrollment, about 3.5 hours daily track time to each group.
  • The state of New York prohibits minors (under 18) from participating on a race track. This includes driving or riding as a passenger.

  • Premium Private coaching with is offered at this event.

Food and Drink

  • A lunch buffet will be available from 11:30-1:30 in the media center.

    • Recommended Hotels

    Convertibles

    • Street convertibles are permitted, with some restrictions.
    • Convertibles with no factory roll protection (Corvettes, early Miatas, Mustangs, etc…)
      may participate, and are restricted to the green group.
    • Those with some form of factory roll protection (P. Cabriolets, M3 Cabs, S2000, Boxster),
      or aftermarket roll bar, may run in any group, based on the driver’s experience.
    • Additional waivers are applicable.

    Co-Drivers/Car Sharing

    • Co-drivers are welcome, sharing a car in the same run group.
    • Please note: 2 drivers in 2 different run groups requires 2 primary registrations.
    • A 2nd driver can be added to any primary registration for an additional $100 1-day fee.
    • Like all drivers, a co-driver must have current membership in Chin Track Days.

    Membership

    • Like most track time car clubs, Chin Track Days has an annual membership.
      A driver must have first have a member account and password to complete registration.
